The intensity hasn't completely subsided, the overwhelming sensation of everything mingling at once lingering over him, heavy but comfortable, like a blanket. But more than anything, as the physical side begins to settle and he adjusts to the sensation of Max's emotions butting against his own, what Jamie feels is just happiness. Pure and simple, and practically pouring off of him.
