[If going fast would have freaked Max out, he never would have handed the keys over to someone as young and impulsive as Jason. Max was pretty ready for whatever the other wanted to throw at him for the moment. He may be a small town guy, but he's doubled down into investing into whatever this is for now and decided that giving it a try isn't gonna hurt anyone even if he gets ragged on by his siblings.
