[ Jason's not used to making any kind of foundation, so this is different. He wants one though, somehow, with Max. He knows this is going to be hard, but what in Jason's life hasn't been hard. It's all been hard and painful and destructive. This- it may be hard, but it's good.
He smiles at Max too, glad when it feels like he really can stand straighter on his own. While he's at it, he grabs some nailpolish remover from the sink and hands it over, if Max needs it. ]
